Yunnan University will support Yunnan's construction of being the radiation center of South and Southeast Asia. The school will take actions including the plan of "South and Southeast University Consortium", the construction of "Belt and Road Research Institute of Yunnan Province", the establishment of "Belt and Road" Research Contribution Award, and the plan of "Studying abroad in Yunnan University". 

These measures will drive Yunnan University to become the first choice of studying abroad for South and Southeast Asian students and the country's largest and most complete research base of South and Southeast Asian regions.
