The final of Yunnan University's first entrepreneurship competition was held on November 7. Thirteen project teams competed for first and second prizes.

In the order of the drawing results, the team leaders gave road shows to the judges as well as the teachers and students. After the road show, they answered questions raised by the judges and carefully listened to their comments.   

After heated competition, the project of Medical School: the highly specialized preclinical biopharmaceutical research service; the project of School of Ethnology and Sociology:  medical waste intelligent recovery system; and the project of the School of Life Science: the production and development of grape endophyte preparations were awarded with first prizes for teams.  

Two other projects: the payment platform of Yunnan arts and crafts knowledge and the fitness nutrition kitchen were awarded first prizes for companies.    

Highly valued by the university and after receiving extensive attention from the teachers and students, the competition collected 120 entrepreneurship and innovation projects. Yunnan University called in experts from both the YNU and other organizations to direct the participating teams.  

After the entrepreneurship competition is finished, the organizing committee will arrange experts to train outstanding teams, focusing on strengthening students' innovation ability, the ability of transferring scientific research result to real batch production and business operation capacity, and to enhance their practical skills in preparation for the upcoming entrepreneurship competition of Yunnan province.
