Co-hosted by the College Graduates Employment Service Center of Yunnan province and Yunnan University (YNU), the "Yunnan University Recruitment Fair for 2018 Graduates" was held on November 9, with more than 280 excellent national and international enterprises participating in the exhibition. Approximately 7,500 positions were provided during the recruitment fair, attracting over 6,000 graduates from YNU and neighboring colleges.

To fully implement the demand of realizing more efficient employment with higher quality that was put forward at the 19th National Congress of CPC, the Yunnan University put more efforts into promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of graduates.  

Considering the characteristics of different majors and the university's advantages in student cultivation, Yunnan University chose to invite the companies over instead of passively accepting enterprises' applications. By inviting targeted companies, the number of high-quality enterprises and positions rose more rapidly compared to the previous years. The average salary increased to 752.9 US dollars from last year's 527 US dollars.    

Moreover, Yunnan University arranged activities such as company promotion, entrepreneurial experience sharing and career planning, making the recruitment fair a forum where employees, entrepreneurs and employers can communicate with each other. This recruitment fair showed Yunnan University's resolution and strength to educate top-notch talents as well as inspire students' confidence to get employment or start a business.
