The 11th teaching competition of Yunnan University ended on November 4. Thirty-five young teachers fell into two competing groups at the final stage and five were awarded with the first prize.  

Lasting for over two months, the total number of contestants is approximately 200.

The competition aims to evaluate two major aspects: teaching plan and class teaching performance, examining the entire process from teaching idea to teaching practice.

Teaching plan includes teaching ideas, innovation and teaching thoughts; class teaching performance comprises of presentation skill, the ability of class organizing and controlling as well as the development of classroom instructions.

In the final, competitors randomly drew one from the five subjects, based on which they made a live stimulation teaching show.           

This competition gave the young teachers a chance to strengthen their basic teaching skills, improve their teaching level, innovate teaching ideas and gain teaching experience.
