Tips for international students

The No 1 Dining Hall for students is just next to the Overseas Students School.

Its opening Time is:

Breakfast: 7:00 am-9:00 am

Lunch: 11:00 am-1:00 pm

Dinner: 5:00 pm-7:00 pm

Students can use Campus Card of Yunnan University for dining and shopping inside the campus's canteens and supermarkets.

Overseas students can handle the Campus Card with their student ID cards with the help of Mr. Long in the No 111 office of the Overseas Students School or by calling him on 0871-65033917.

Campus Card can be used after recharge. When the balance is not enough, students can recharge it in the office next to the No 1 Dining Hall.

8:30 am-12:30 pm or 2:30 pm-5:30 pm from Monday to Friday

Dining outside the campus

Restaurants surrounding the campus vary in levels and tastes, which mainly gather in Wenlin Street (Culture Lane), including Thai restaurants (such as Thai Yilian), Korean restaurants (such as Han River and Alilang), Indian restaurants (such as Indian Cuisine), Western restaurants (such as Salvador and Teresa Pizza) and Chinese restaurant (such as Red Bean Garden, Pot House and Mana). Students can pick what they want according to their taste.
