The Arab Regional Service Center of the Maritime Silk Road International Legal and Commercial Integration Service Base was established in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone in September 2024.

Over the past year, the center has focused on China-Arab economic and trade cooperation, achieving remarkable results in promoting two-way investment, preventing legal and commercial risks, and building resource networks. It has become a new service channel facilitating bilateral economic exchanges and investment cooperation between China and the Arab region.

The center has established a multi-tiered service network with "Xiamen as the headquarters, Dubai as the service station, and Fuzhou as the outreach point", leveraging the nationwide network of partner law firms to extend its reach into major cities across China.

To date, the center has provided over 150 consultations on cross-border investment and trade compliance for domestic and international enterprises, facilitated 22 outbound projects, and attracted three foreign-funded projects to Xiamen.

The center has also conducted policy research and risk advisories, compiling the "Report on Issues Faced by Chinese Enterprises Expanding into the Middle East" to provide decision-making references for both businesses and relevant departments. Additionally, it has organized over 20 investment promotion and compliance training sessions, attracting more than 1,000 participants.
