The 134th China Import and Export Fair, or the Canton Fair launched on Oct 15 in Guangzhou city – capital of South China's Guangdong province .
It will be held in three phases from Oct 15 to Nov 4, with its online platform operating simultaneously.
This year's Canton Fair has attracted the participation of 575 companies from Xiamen – a coastal city in East China's Fujian province – and they are showing their latest products and technologies there.
With a total of 1,854 stands, the Xiamen exhibition areas involve household appliances, electronics consumer goods, building decoration materials, healthcare products and medical equipment, ceramics, bags, shoes, sportswear and leisure wear, among others.
At this year's Canton Fair, Xiamen C&D – along with its subsidiaries, including Xiamen C&D Light Industry and Xiamen Kingland – will appear in multiple exhibition areas. These cover areas like home appliances, electronic information products and consumer goods.
Owing to the great international influence of the Canton Fair, Xiamen C&D Light Industry will strengthen its in-depth commercial business with customers from Europe and the United States during the period.
It will also actively reach out to more new customers from countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative – as well as in Central and South American countries – to further promote the global distribution of its products.
For its part, Xiamen Kingland brings out innovative electronic products closely revolving around smart home living scenarios – such as televisions, audio systems and headphones.
