The second list of China Investment Hotspot Cities will be announced at the 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), which will take place from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, according to the organizing committee of CIFIT.

The rankings of the cities on the list were determined following evaluations by commercial departments of provinces and cities across the country.

The first China Investment Hotspot Cities report was released by the CIFIT organizing committee on Sept 8, 2022. It featured 18 cities and regions: Guangzhou's Nansha district, Ganzhou, Changsha, Jingzhou, Guiyang, Qujing, Chengdu, Qiuquan, Yinchuan, Ordos, Linfen, Baoding, Harbin New Area, Shenyang, Zibo, Qingdao's Jimo district, Fuzhou, and Quanzhou.

Official statistics show that the 18 places achieved remarkable results in investment attraction during the first four months of this year, especially those located in coastal provinces like Qingdao's Jimo district, Zibo and Baoding.

The CIFIT will continue to provide guidance to help enterprises optimize their investments and promote the two-way flow of capital and resources, said the organizing committee. The exhibition will also showcase the city's image, investment environment, and potential business opportunities at multiple levels, providing a broad stage for cities to attract investment.

This year's CIFIT will have an exhibition area covering 120,000 square meters. A series of high-profile events, including the "Investment in China" keynote forum, the "Silk Road Maritime" international cooperation forum, and the Gulangyu Forum, will be held.

Northwest China's Gansu province will be the guest province of honor of the 23rd CIFIT, where it will showcase its development achievements over the years.
