Juergen Eichner, CEO of German company VIA Optronics, visited Suzhou New District and met with Mao Wei, the district's Party chief, on Feb 6.
VIA Optronics Suzhou was established in Suzhou New District in 2011. The company primarily produces touch displays and touch screens for automotive control systems, car entertainment systems, and laptop computers. Its major clients include BMW, General Motors, Audi, Dell, and Lenovo.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, VIA Optronics has branches in Europe, Asia, and North America and is known as a professional technology expert in the field of optoelectronic displays.
Mao Wei thanked VIA Optronics for its long-term contributions to the district's economic development. Mao stated that German enterprises have continued to expand their investment in the district, and the district will continue to provide the best services and protections to help businesses develop.
Eichner expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance provided by Suzhou New District. Eichner said he has personally witnessed the progress made in infrastructure construction and the development of characteristic industries in the district. He added that he is looking forward to deepening the cooperation between VIA Optronics and Suzhou New District.
