Shushan village in Tong'an town, Suzhou New District, was ranked by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a model of rural tourism, local media reported Sept 6.
The only entrant for the honor in Suzhou, the village's active role in promoting rural tourism can also be seen from it being chosen as host of the 11th Jiangsu Rural Tourism Festival on Sept 25 and 26.
