The Justice Department of Henan Province and the provincial Department of Commerce recently held a special meeting to promote the development of foreign-related legal services within the province.

The meeting emphasized that advancing foreign-related rule of law is one of the major strategic deployments by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and strengthening foreign-related legal services is a key priority in the provincial government's agenda. Both departments bear significant responsibilities in this effort.

Participants called for closer collaboration between the two departments to integrate business and legal services, while maintaining high professional and international standards tailored to Henan's local context.

The meeting also urged establishing a dedicated task force with concrete plans and defined responsibilities and proactively reporting to the relevant higher-level ministries for necessary support. It was also agreed to further enhance the service quality and social influence of the Henan Foreign-Related Legal Service Center, and to optimize the offerings of the Henan Foreign Legal Service Network for better mobile accessibility.

In addition, the meeting underscored the importance of setting up dedicated legal service windows at major business exhibitions within the province to offer on-site legal assistance and showcase the image and capacity of Henan's foreign-related legal service teams.
