Vice minister of justice meets with delegation of Hong Kong Bar Association

Vice Minister of Justice Wu Zeng met with a delegation from the Hong Kong Bar Association led by senior counsel José Antonio Maurellet in Beijing on December 16.

The two sides exchanged views on topics of mutual concern, including policies on opening up legal services to the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, supporting Hong Kong in building itself into a center for international legal and dispute resolution services in the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening the cultivation of foreign-related legal professionals, and applying artificial intelligence to enhance legal services.

Gao Zicheng, president of the All-China Lawyers Association, also attended the meeting.
