Wang welcomed Delnaud's delegation to the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) of China, highlighting the positive momentum in China-France relations. He noted that President Xi Jinping's state visit to France in May this year resulted in a joint statement and the signing of multiple cooperation agreements between the two countries, sending a positive signal of both countries' commitment to deepening pragmatic cooperation, jointly addressing global challenges, and promoting world peace and stability.
Wang briefed Delnaud on China's achievements in promoting the rule of law under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the progress the MOJ has made in promoting modernization based on its functions.
China's MOJ is willing to take the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France as an opportunity to work with its French counterpart to further deepen exchanges in the legal and judicial fields, enhance pragmatic cooperation in civil and commercial judicial assistance, and continuously advance the China-France comprehensive strategic partnership to yield new outcomes, he said.
Delnaud lauded China's significant achievements in promoting the rule of law, and expressed a willingness to continue deepening pragmatic cooperation between the two sides to provide legal guarantees for the development of China-France bilateral relations.
