The Jiangsu (Nanjing) Foreign-related Legal Service Center has officially launched operations, with 12 organizations included as the first batch of partners and 24 major cooperation projects signed.
Established by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice, the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Justice and the government of Nanjing's Gulou district, the center will integrate a wide range of legal services, including lawyer consultation, notarization, judicial appraisal and administrative reconsideration, as well as foreign-related litigation, international commercial arbitration and foreign-related prosecution services. It aims to build itself to platforms for public exhibition and reception, diversified dispute resolution and collaborative protection research in order to meet the diverse legal service needs of enterprises and individuals engaging in overseas activities, thereby establishing a highly recognizable legal service brand with the distinctive identity of Nanjing, the regional characteristics of Jiangsu and nationwide influence in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The foreign-related law schools alliance was also established, as part of the collaborative protection research platform. This alliance will facilitate the teaching of foreign-related legal courses, practical legal training and the development of international exchange programs, creating a talent training base for foreign-related legal professionals.
Through regular academic seminars and the sharing of research achievements and practical experiences, the alliance will explore new methods and approaches to resolving foreign-related legal issues. Fourteen universities have already joined the alliance.
