China's Minister of Justice He Rong meets with a delegation led by Momo Koprivica, deputy prime minister of Montenegro, in Beijing.
He Rong briefed Koprivica on the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the progress China's Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has made in serving Chinese modernization based on its functions.
Noting that China and Montenegro enjoy a longstanding friendship, the minister expressed the willingness to strengthen exchanges in law and judicial administration, deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas such as legal services, judicial assistance and the transfer of sentenced persons, and fully leverage the role of the rule of law in safeguarding bilateral trade and investment and personnel exchanges, in a bid to advance the sustained development of China-Montenegro relations and better benefit the people of both countries.
Koprivica lauded China's achievements in promoting overall law-based governance, and expressed the willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China's MOJ in the rule of law to serve the economic and social development of both countries.
