He Rong introduced the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the significant achievements China has made in promoting law-based governance under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law.

China-Cuba relations have become an example of solidarity and cooperation between socialist countries and sincere mutual assistance between developing countries, the minister noted. The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) of China is willing to work with the legal and judicial sectors of Cuba, including the Office of the Attorney General of Cuba, to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of both parties and countries, continuously expand channels and platforms for bilateral exchanges and cooperation, and deepen pragmatic cooperation, in a bid to contribute legal strength to the building of a China-Cuba community with a shared future and better benefit the people and the development of both countries.

Ojeda lauded China's achievements in socioeconomic development and the development of the rule of law, expressing the willingness to continue to promote the deepening of cooperation between Cuba's legal and judicial sectors and China's MOJ.

Alberto Blanco Silva, Cuban ambassador to China, and Marcos Antonio Caraballo de la Rosa, deputy attorney general of Cuba, also attended the meeting.
