Vice-minister of justice meets with Cambodian government delegation

China's Vice-Minister of Justice Hu Weilie meets with a delegation led by YOM Pharot, delegate of the royal government and director general of civil affairs of the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Beijing on July 16. The Cambodian delegation was visiting China upon the invitation of the Ministry of Justice.

China's Vice-Minister of Justice Hu Weilie met with a delegation led by YOM Pharot, delegate of the royal government and director general of civil affairs of the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Beijing on July 16. The delegation was visiting China upon the invitation of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).

Hu briefed YOM Pharot on the significant achievements China has made in promoting the rule of law under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

He said that China's MOJ is willing to work together with the Cambodian Ministry of Justice to effectively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and further deepen exchanges and mutual learning in the field of the rule of law.

Hu emphasized strengthening exchanges and pragmatic cooperation in the notary field, including industry supervision and management, information-based development, innovation and expansion of services and personnel training. These efforts aim to maximize the efficiency of the notary system in preventing and resolving disputes, promote the comprehensive participation of the notary industry in national economic and social activities, areas concerning people's livelihood, and foreign-related civil and commercial exchanges, and serve socioeconomic development.

YOM Pharot praised China's achievements in socioeconomic development and the development of the rule of law. He said that the Ministry of Justice of Cambodia is ready to foster a closer working relationship and further deepen pragmatic cooperation with its Chinese counterpart.
