In recent years, East China's Anhui province has adopted a set of measures to promote its public legal services targeted at enterprises, in a bid to create a more enabling law-based business environment and drive the development of the private economy.

These measures focus on several aspects, such as the optimization of the law-based business environment, risk prevention and mitigation, and the improvement of service quality and efficiency.

In 2022, the provincial justice department selected a team of 240 legal service personnel consisting of lawyers, notaries and judicial forensic staff from the province.

Organized by the province's lawyers association, the team carried out legal publicity activities for enterprises, with a focus on hot legal issues. Based on the needs of industries, they provided relevant legal services to assist enterprises in preventing and resolving legal risks. They also guided them to operate their businesses in accordance with the law and to protect their legitimate rights and interests, in a bid to promote the healthy development of enterprises.

The province has organized a total of 5,000 lawyers to conduct on-site visits to over 10,000 enterprises, with over 4,000 relevant training programs having already been carried out. The lawyers have reviewed over 10,000 legal risks, provided more than 15,000 pieces of legal suggestions and written over 4,200 "legal examination" reports. They have also handled over 900 enterprise-related cases, assisting enterprises in applying policy support in accordance with laws and regulations.

Considering rapid economic and social development, as well as the acceleration of industrial upgrades, the province's judicial administrative authorities have focused on the ten emerging industries, such as the new generation of information technology and new energy vehicles. A relevant working plan has been issued to provide strong legal guarantees for and support the development of these ten emerging industries.

In addition, measures have been introduced to help enterprises involved in cases to return to normal business operation by conducting relevant enterprises compliance work.
