China's justice minister meets with Mongolian counterpart

On Sept 21, China's Minister of Justice He Rong met with a delegation led by Khishgee Nyambaatar, Mongolian minister of justice and home affairs, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on pragmatic cooperation in the legal and judicial fields.

He Rong briefed Nyambaatar on China's remarkable achievements in the development of the rule of law under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law.

China's Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has been enthusiastically fulfilling its functions to provide strong legal guarantees for advancing Chinese modernization, according to the Chinese minister.

She noted that the MOJ is willing to work together with the Mongolian Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs to implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, and make sustained efforts to enhance pragmatic cooperation in such fields as judicial assistance, transfer of sentenced persons, as well as legal services involving lawyers, notarization, arbitration and judicial forensics. These efforts will help serve economic and social development through law-based governance and promote the sustained and sound development of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership, He Rong said.

Nyambaatar spoke highly of China's achievements in socioeconomic development, and in the rule of law, expressing his hope to work together with the MOJ to strengthen exchanges and interactions and promote bilateral pragmatic cooperation regarding the rule of law to a higher level.

Mongolian Ambassador to China Tuvshin Badral also attended the meeting.
