Minister of justice meets with president of Court of Final Appeal of Macao

Minister of Justice He Rong met with a delegation of the Court of Final Appeal of the Macao Special Administrative Region led by its president Sam Hou Fai on July 26 in Beijing.

They held an in-depth exchange of views on various issues, including advancing the pilot program that allows lawyers from Hong Kong and Macao to practice law in the mainland, enhancing cooperation between the mainland and Macao in fields of arbitration and mediation, and providing high-quality legal services and guarantees for the steady and sustained development of the cause of "one country, two systems".

Sam expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) for its support for the Macao legal profession, and looked forward to further exchanges and cooperation with the MOJ.

Vice-Minister of Justice Wang Zhenjiang also attended the meeting.
