Creating a first-class law-based business environment

Enhancing legal services to deliver benefits to the people

To guarantee high-quality, convenient and efficient legal aid services, Jiangxi has released a notice to streamline the procedure of getting legal aid services across the province, with 25,000 people getting such services this year.

Judicial forensic procedures have been improved to provide such services as door-to-door appointments and fee reduction for groups with special difficulties, including the disabled and migrant workers.

A special section for legal services has been included in the "Ganfutong" app, the province's official online administrative service platform. It enables the public to have easy access to legal services without leaving their home, and over 300,000 people have handled their affairs on the app this year.

In the meantime, 1,373 terminals for remote legal services have been set up in an effort to offer legal services to people living in remote villages, which provided 126,000 door-to-door judicial administrative services this year.

Improving law-based social governance to facilitate the province's overall development

Efforts have been made to cultivate savvy legal talents. The province has cultivated 6,341,900 village cadres and people's mediators as legal talents, including 939,700 key members. They have been engaged in 3,443,000 cases of publicity and practice of the rule of law.

Special investigations have been conducted to resolve disputes, which looked into over 44,000 affairs and resolved more than 86,000 disputes.

In response to those disputes of wide public concerns in key areas such as real estate, property management, tourism and finance, the province has accelerated efforts to establish 1,056 mediation organizations to resolve disputes at the source.

To further protect women and children's rights, 18 legal aid institutions focusing on judicial forensic services for the group have been set up in 11 cities divided into districts to serve women and children who have financial difficulties.
