Anhui accelerates building of public legal service system

East China's Anhui province has been taking multiple measures to enhance public legal service in an all-round way.

Fruitful outcomes on multiple fronts have been achieved since the province released a guideline on accelerating the construction of public legal service system in 2020.

Anhui has stepped up efforts to promote the building of public service facilities and integration of online, offline and hotline platforms. To date, the province has set up 1,527 public legal service stations at township and sub-district levels and 17,241 legal service studios at villages and communities.

Efforts have been made to improve the province's public legal service website management by linking it to 124 official websites of governments at different levels, 124 e-government networks, and the province's government services app “Wanshitong”, as well as the official WeChat account of the province's judicial department.

All the province's villages and neighborhood committees, 17,628 in total, have hired legal advisers to provide services.

Moreover, the province has established 829 legal publicity and education bases and 2,395 law-themed parks, squares, and corridors. It has also set up 852 mass cultural communities centered on the rule of law, and organized over 5,000 legal publicity activities every year.
