Jiangsu promulgates measures to protect public data and ensure confidentiality

A set of measures to ensure the safety of public data has been put into effect recently in East China's Jiangsu province.

In force since Feb 1, 2022, the measures have stipulated the establishment of a data protection system to secure the confidentiality and personal information of the public. 

According to legislators from the province, these measures are important in standardizing public data management, promoting the building of digital government and improving governance and public services.
