To support environment-related public interest litigation, the judicial department of East China's Jiangxi province recently announced a list of 17 forensic service institutions that won't charge procuratorates service fees beforehand.

The move is part of the department's effort to implement the guidelines on supporting procuratorates in pollution-related public interest litigation cases, which was jointly released by nine authorities, including the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Justice.

According to the department, forensic service fees will be borne by losing parties.

The forensic institutions involved are located in 10 cities across the province.
