Xiamen uses digital map to make legal services more available

The judicial department of Xiamen in East China's Fujian province recently upgraded its digital legal service map in an effort to bring more tangible benefits to the public.

With the updated map, users now can locate as many as 2,617 legal service facilities including the city's judicial department, public legal service centers, notary offices, primary-level judicial stations, people's mediation committees, law firms, judicial authentication centers, primary-level legal service stations, legal aid centers, and arbitration institutions.

The department has also been trying to improve both the legal services' availability and quality by optimizing its public legal service system, according to the department.
