During their trip, the team visited Jinan, Qingdao and Weifang, holding meetings with officials at various levels ranging from provincial to community levels.

They also conducted an on-site survey of Jinan's government service center and government service hotline office, Weichai Group, and a law firm in Weifang.

Xiong, also a member of the Office of the Commission of the Overall Law-based Governance of the CPC Central Committee, stressed the need to deeply implement the spirit of the central conference on work related to overall law-based governance.

He urged proper handling of prominent issues related to the rule of law that have drawn public attention and effective implementation of the top-level design for advancing overall law-based governance.

He emphasized the crucial role of leading cadres, especially the "key minority" of officials in important positions, in promoting the rule of law.
