Four provincial-level regions vow to protect Yangtze River with rule of law

The judicial departments of Shanghai municipality, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, regions in the Yangtze River Delta, recently released a joint manifesto on protecting the river with the rule of law. 

Along with releasing the manifesto, the four regions signed a plan for enhancing judicial administrative collaboration in protecting the river. 

The manifesto calls on judicial administrative authorities of the four regions to strengthen coordination in protecting the river and contribute to integrated and high-quality development of the delta. 

The plan makes arrangements for related local legislative work as well as joint supervision of environment-related law enforcement in the delta.
