BEIJING -- A collection of articles by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on adhering to overall law-based governance has been published by the Central Party Literature Press.
The book, compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, is available nationwide.
The book contains Xi's 54 articles, many of which were published for the first time.
Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has made major decisions and plans on promoting overall law-based governance, resulting in historic changes and achievements in developing the socialist rule of law in China, said a statement on the book's publication.
Xi has made a series of significant discourses on adhering to law-based governance, answering major and important questions concerning why and how law-based governance should be advanced and forming the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, said the statement.
The thought is the latest achievement in adapting Marxist theories on the rule of law to the Chinese context, thus providing fundamental guidance for advancing law-based governance, it said.
The publishing of the book is of great significance in helping officials and the public learn and implement the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, said the statement.
