Zhejiang makes tremendous effort to promote Civil Code

The judicial administration system of East China's Zhejiang province has been using various means to publicize China's first Civil Code since it was adopted in late May.

 Cultivating a rule of law culture

The authority of a sub-district in Xiaoshan district of Hangzhou, the capital city, converted a local park into a rule of law-themed venue to popularize the code.

The authorities in Xinzhou district of Ningbo city painted a local out-door gallery with content from the code. It's drawing a lot of attention from residents.

The judicial department of Cixi city cooperated with a local recitation association to have famous TV hosts recite the code.

The judicial department of Keqiao district of Shaoxing city produced a series of short videos to promote the code on popular platforms.

The authority of Pujiang county of Jinhua city also released a short video to explain how the code will make a difference in people’s lives.

The law publicity office of Putuo district of Zhoushan city launched an online quiz to facilitate the public’s understanding of the code.

The authority of Xihu district of Hangzhou invited lawyers to break down the articles of the code concerning personality right in live-streamed lectures.

The art troupe of Keqiao district of Shaoxing city recorded videos in which its members publicize the code in the local dialect.

Holding lectures

A judicial station in Shangcheng district of Hangzhou city combined online and offline approaches to disseminate the code.

Focusing on children, a judicial station in Yinzhou district of Ningbo city organized pupils to read the code collectively before their first morning class.
