(en,moj,gov,cn)| Updated: 2020-03-05

In a recently-released circular, the Ministry of Justice instructed judicial administrative organs at all levels to effectively prevent, screen and mediate disputes, and conduct law popularization amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

According to the circular, grassroots judicial stations, mediation organizations and mediators must be mobilized to take appropriate measures to mediate disputes.

They are ordered to draw on information technology to help the public resolve their disputes in a non-touching manner.

Meanwhile, the circular tasks them with providing convenient and efficient mediation services to help enterprises resume their work and production.

The circular also calls for strengthening the role of chambers of commerce in conducting mediations in an effort to consolidate legal resources to help enterprises and employees address their disputes through legal means.
