Lushun Museum adjusts opening hours

According to a news release issued by its WeChat account, Lushun Museum in Lushunkou, in Dalian in northeastern Liaoning province, adjusted its opening hours on Oct 31.

From Nov 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, the museum is open from 9:00 to 16:00 and closes on Mondays.

As for the exhibitions in the museum, the main venue is exhibiting collections of bronzes, ceramics and mummies excavated in Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, as well as sculptures from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), ancient Chinese Buddhist statues and ancient chopsticks.

In addition, there are sub-venues which exhibit artifacts from ancient civilization of Dalian, historical materials about Dalian’s modern history and historical materials about the May Fourth Movement and the New Culture Movement.
