Ex-Tsarist commander’s home put on protection list

The former official residence of the Ex-Tsarist Russia army deputy commander in Lushunkou in Dalian, in northeastern China's Liaoning province, was included in the eighth batch of national cultural relics for protection, according to local officials.
They said the inclusion was by order of the State Council which released the list on Oct 16.
There are 762 items newly included on the national key cultural relics list.
The former commander's residence is located at Baiyu Street, in Lushunkou.
Officials said it was built in 1900 in the Byelorussian style and covers an area of 1,300 square meters.
