A memorial ceremony for honoring dead compatriots in the First Sino-Japanese War was held at Lushunkou, in Dalian, a city in North China's Liaoning province on Nov 21.

Patriotic residents, officers and soldiers stationed in Lushunkou and student representatives attended the public memorial ceremony in memory of dead compatriots.
