Movie fans are in luck with the opening of the 3rd "Amur Autumn" Film Culture Festival in the Lushun district of Dalian city, Liaoning province, on Sept 26.

This year's event is being sponsored by Liaoning Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang.

A total of 14 films are expected to be shown during the three-day event, including six from China, with approximately 100 people working across the industry in attendance.

A host of exciting events are planned for this year's festival, including various ceremonies, film exhibitions, and forums for industry professionals.

The festival is primarily a Sino-Russian event designed to promote good relations between the two countries, which are currently enjoying growing bilateral trade and increased cultural exchanges.

"Autumn of Amur" Film Festival is held on Sept 25 to Sept 29 in Lushun Kai Shi Hot Spring Resort, with the attendance of more than 60 film artists. [Photo provided to China Daily]
