A parallel session of the 16th Dalian International Walking Festival commenced in Lushunkou district of Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on May 19.

Themed on health, peace and communication, the event was organized by Dalian Walking Association and the government of Lushunkou district, with the aim of raising people’s awareness to health and sports.

The festival set up different routes of 5 kilometers, 10 km and 15 km, allowing participants to enjoy beautiful natural scenery of Lushunkou and splendid performances along the way.

This year’s event attracted nearly 20,000 hiking lovers.
