A charity auction of four-season photos of Lushunkou was held at 203 Cheery Garden in Lushunkou district of Dalian, North China’s Liaoning province, on May 5.

The photos were all shot by Zhang Wei, an amateur photographer and navy veteran, who has been living in Dalian for 25 years.

People from all walks of life took part in the event, some in person while others over the phone. 

Work No 48 Living at the Seaside was bought by a man surnamed Chen at 800 yuan ($125.52), the highest price for a single item at the auction.

The auction raised 19,160 yuan in total, which will be donated to the Special Education Center of Lushunkou.
