The indoor exhibition is divided into several exhibition halls: maritime weapon exhibition hall for naval mines, torpedoes, depth charges, and minesweeping equipment; ship-to-ship missile hall; periscope hall; laser gun shooting hall; light/heavy weapons, ammunition and mine series exhibition hall; ship models, famous guns in the world and historical Chinese naval uniform exhibition hall.
Also on display is the table and chair used by Chairman Mao Zedong in February 1953 when inspecting the naval ship Nanchang. This is where he made the inscription “To fight against the imperialist invasion, we must build a strong navy”, which is the motto of the Chinese maritime Great Wall.
