Second-level certification for nuclear pressure vessels is under application and examination. By the end of 2009, Dalian Dongfang Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd had a manufacturing capacity of 26,000 tons. Its tonnage of manufactured pressure vessels reached 12,689, and it produced 3,500 tons of petrochemical industry accessories, and over 10,000 tons of marine equipment and ocean engineering parts. Its annual output value exceeded 400 million yuan. The company has become one of the ten leading equipment manufacturing enterprises of Dalian city and its output value has risen to No. 3 in the whole district.

With a core expertise of equipment configuration, Dalian Dongfang Yipeng Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd has invested heavily in equipment updates. It has acquired  a large veneer reeling machine with W11S150×3000 automatic indenter; four different-sized EZXW11S-200/300×3500 heavy-duty veneer reeling machines; three 100×12 m edge planers and plasma cutting machines; 18 rotary argon arc welding automatic welders with all tube heads and plates welded automatically; one  deep circular seam narrow gap automatic welder; eight cross automatic welders; four surfacing welding machines; one small pipe in-wall welding machine; one saddle-type specially-developed welding machine; 12 cranes of 200T, 100T and 50T capacity; a TK6920/L120φ200×12000 numerical control floor-type milling & boring machine; five DVT1000×50/150Q-NC numerical control vertical lathes (10 m vertical lathe), C5250 and C5116; four numerical control deep hole drilling machines; one 20×6×6.5 m car-type heat treating furnace; one 4×4×3 pit furnace and one 3×3×11 medium temp furnace.
