Lunshunkou government has carried out a "Five Areas and One Base" plan to construct the following six projects in Lushunkou: Northwestward Lingang New City, Ecological Livable City, Tourism, Leisure and Vacation City, Famous Historical and Cultural City, Science and Technology Innovative City and a city of flowers. And here are the primary investment fields in Northwestward Lingang New City.

Primary investment fields are as follows: 

1. Construction of Shuangdaowan port: Shuangdaowan port is a rare deepwater harbor in the northern coast of China with domestically favorable conditions to become an integrated deepwater harbor city following the construction of extra-large deepwater bulk cargo berths of more than 300,000 tons. It has a land area of 18 square kilometers and coastline of 10 square kilometers, with enterprising interest in equipment manufacturing and the transportation of raw materials and finished products.

2. Shuangdaowan Lingang Low-Carbon Industrial Park: relying on the construction of Shuangdaowan port, we are planning and constructing Lingang Low-Carbon Industrial Park with a land area of 29 square kilometers, and will actively introduce major equipment manufacturing, shipbuilding supporting, new energy, new materials and other industrial projects of high-tech industries.

3. Integrated logistics base: Northwestward Lingang New City possesses the State-Level Class I Port - Lushun New Port - with 18 completed berths and 30 million tons annual throughput. As an important combination port of Dalian International Shipping Center, it will become a sea roll on/roll off transport hub of Northeast Asia. In the future, 23 through sea routes will be successively opened to Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Nagasaki, Inchon and other cities. Taking Lushun Newport Logistics Park and Agricultural and Sideline Products International Logistics Center as core, we will construct Dalian roll on/roll off logistics park, food logistics park, steel material logistics park, construction materials logistics park, as well as agricultural and sideline products and flowers logistics park, to build integrated logistics base of Circum-Bohai Bay Region.

4. Dalian Green Food Industrial Park: marine products and agricultural and sideline products of Lushunkou are characterized by abundant resources and delicious taste, with world-renowned sea cucumber, abalone, large cherries, eggs and other products. Therefore, we will build the Green Food Industrial Park in Changcheng with 2.06 square kilometers of floor area. Assured food processing zone and high-end green food processing zone in the planning will respectively attract enterprises engaging in production and processing of grain, fruits and vegetables, meat, soy products, marine products, condiments and other necessities as well as precious marine product, algae deep processing and other high-end food and health care products manufacturer, to create a green food industrial base covering Dalian City and distributing the Northeast China in whole.
