Seafood festival unfolds at Lushunkou

This year's Lushun Seafood Festival opened in Dalian’s Lushunkou, Liaoning province on Sept 23, 2016.
The 15-day festivity hosted various seafood sales promotions. A total of 15 restaurants joined the campaign offering discounts, gift coupons, specials and lottery draws for dinners.
A cooking contest was also held as part of the festival. Chefs skilled in seafood cooking from the city competed for prizes with 10 dishes were voted as the winners at a culinary contest.
The festival focused on the branding of local seafood dishes, emphasized by three streets with dozens of seafood restaurants highlighting the event. A special food street featuring healthy homemade meals was also promoted.
