Hefei hosted the AutoSens China and InCabin China 2025 from Nov 18 to 20, bringing together over 350 entrepreneurs and engineers from across the global automotive supply chain to discuss collaboration.
The conference, co-organized by GUiTEK Service Platform and local industry associations, focused on critical topics like simulation, testing, certification, and occupant monitoring systems.
The opening session featured the "Sino-Europe NEV Industry Dialogue", gathering nearly 50 international entrepreneurs from Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
Hefei, as a key player in China's new energy vehicle industry, secured the top spot in national NEV production in 2024. The city's robust industrial ecosystem features major players like BYD and Volkswagen and a resilient supply chain excelling in batteries and drive motors.
Local leading companies such as JAC Motors and NIO highlighted their technological expertise during the event.
JAC Motors, with over 60 years of expertise, displayed its advanced multi-energy platforms, supported by a global presence with 19 overseas factories.
NIO, known for its focus on core technology, is fast approaching the one-million delivery milestone, with its Hefei smart factory serving as a model of advanced manufacturing.
Hefei has also become a leader in infrastructure and China's first capital city to fully open autonomous driving, with 320,000 charging stations and over 360 million kilometers of intelligent connected vehicle testing mileage.
The conference highlighted the collaborative roles of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology in establishing smart vehicle standards, the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) in facilitating connections between local businesses and international markets, and the Aopenlab in providing crucial support for industrial upgrading.
At the event, global automotive supply chain companies and Hefei's local industry leaders carried out exchanges related to intelligent sensing, autonomous driving, in-vehicle chips, vehicle cameras, software-defined vehicles, and smart manufacturing.
