Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) marked a crucial first step in connecting global innovation resources and aligning with high-end international projects at the 14th China-Italy Science, Technology and Innovation Week held in Beijing's Zhongguancun on Nov 13.
As a key technology cooperation platform between the two nations, the event drew leading research institutions and innovation-driven companies, with GUi's Technology Manager Office actively participating.
GUi's team engaged in productive discussions with senior technical managers who have expertise in fields like AI and big data analytics, aligning perfectly with GUi's current focus areas. This led to invitations for the experts to join GUi's growing network.
Besides promoting new collaborations, GUi encouraged discussions on cutting-edge technologies such as Dalian University of Technology's "earthquake-resistant construction simulation system", helping in the exploration of industry applications.
GUi also collaborated with the Institute of Applied Physics "Nello Carrara" of Italy's National Research Council, discussing three major technological applications that could be adopted in Hefei, establishing a solid foundation for bringing in advanced Italian research.

Moreover, GUi engaged in discussions with the International Technology Transfer Network, the core organizer of the event. They agreed to co-host an innovation forum in early December to enhance GUi's connections with top global tech transfer networks and introduce more international projects.
GUi's worldwide innovation ecosystem is quickly forming. Moving forward, it aims to strengthen these collaborations to develop a strong global innovation network that drives Hefei and Anhui's technological progress with international momentum.
