GUi delegation showcases Anhui's model at Chery Global Conference

From Oct 18 to 21, the 2025 Chery Global Innovation Conference took place in East China's Anhui province, where the GUi & Aopenlab Pavilion became a key highlight.

The pavilion featured 23 exhibits from 10 cutting-edge tech companies, covering emerging fields like quantum information, fusion energy, and deep-space exploration. 

Enterprises from the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), such as Anhui Monks Aerospace Technology — a leading private company specializing in composite aerospace materials — featured a new energy battery heat insulation sheet, which is now expanding into the new energy vehicle sector.

Meanwhile, Chengling Microelectronics and Anhui Ziting Henghui New Materials introduced their innovations in automotive chips and high-strength coatings, attracting interest from both universities and industry partners.

At the Anhui Senhai Vision Technology booth, a high-tech company specializing in smart car lights, international visitors expressed keen interest in its intelligent automotive lighting system.

The success of this exhibition stems from a dynamic model led by the Anhui Provincial Association for Science and Industry Integration Innovation, connecting Chery Automobile, Anhui Open Automotive Ecology Laboratory, and the GUiTEK Service Platform.

The event served as a clear example of collaboration between science and industry, uniting researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs to share ideas and seek new areas of cooperation.

"The association has transformed its members into a unified force, and this synergy model can be replicated across fields such as robotics and artificial intelligence," said a representative from GUiTEK.

For startups like THU-Lion Aviation, GUi serves as a true accelerator, linking government, capital and market resources in low-altitude tourism. "With GUi, we were market-ready in under four months, " said Wu Quanquan, general manager of the company.

The partnership among GUi, Chery, and the laboratory exemplifies a new innovation paradigm — moving from a linear relay to co-creation, integrating enterprises, universities, research institutes, and innovation platforms into a unified innovation community.

As the conference concluded, it was clear that the future of competition lies not between companies, but between innovation ecosystems — and Anhui's GUi is leading the way.
