The second phase of the eighth training camp of the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), hosted by GUiTEK Service Platform in Hefei, East China's Anhui province, concluded on Sept 13 with a closing ceremony.
This session covered two key drivers of enterprise growth — brand and capital — providing strategic insights and practical tools.
On Sept 12, Fu Zhiyong, a brand strategist and professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, gave a lecture on brand and marketing management.
Fu explained how companies can transition from focusing on leadership technology to establishing brand leadership and creating unique identities in a tech-driven market, using successful corporate examples as references.
The following day, Xu Shengdeng, an expert in corporate governance and capital operations from Jinan University, led a session on equity design and capital operations.
Xu analyzed governance, financing, and equity issues at various stages of business development. He said entrepreneurs should craft smart capital plans to attract resources, reduce risks, and promote sustainable growth.

During the closing ceremony, Wu Hailong, chairman of GUiTEK Service Platform, congratulated participants and emphasized GUi's mission to foster a collaborative innovation ecosystem.
Wu encouraged attendees to transform their learning into new momentum for growth, highlighting GUi's role as both a catalyst for innovation and a bridge to global networks.
Since its launch, GUi's training camp has become a flagship program for nurturing talent and connecting innovators with global resources. Looking ahead, it aims to expand its curriculum and continue fueling innovation in Hefei and beyond.
