New Anhui alliance launched to boost tech-industry integration

The Anhui Association for Scientific, Technological and Industrial Integration and Innovation held its inaugural members' meeting on June 13, with the GUiTEK Service Platform assuming the role of secretary unit at the meeting.

The event saw the participation of key leaders from key governmental departments of Anhui province, and representatives from over 140 member units spanning 16 cities across the province, totaling more than 160 attendees.

During the meeting, several important institutional frameworks were deliberated on and approved, including the draft charter of the association and the draft guidelines for elections.

The Hefei-based iFLYTEK was elected as the chair unit, while Efort Intelligent Equipment and Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences were elected as vice-chair units.

The founding of the association is part of Anhui's efforts to establish a specialized platform that connects scientists, engineers, and product managers. By doing so, it aims to closely integrate science and technology with industry and academia, accelerating the transformation of scientific achievements into industrial applications.

The association will fully ‌utilize‌ the guiding role of government, integrate resources from government, industry, academia, research institutions, financial sectors, service providers, and end-users, and commit to market-oriented operations to ensure its independent and sustainable development.

Open to global participation, it aims to bring together domestic and international institutions and individuals in the science and technology sector, fostering a collaborative platform for shared resources and innovative development.

With innovation at its core, the association will continuously refine its service model to provide high-quality cross-disciplinary innovation resources to its members.

The association aims to become a leading domestic and internationally influential platform for exchanges and collaborations in the science and technology sector in the coming three to five years.
