GUi leads Anhui's breakthrough in innovation chain integration

Anhui has unveiled a bold reform blueprint to deepen the integration of the innovation, industrial, capital, and talent chains, a systemic effort that places the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) at the center of the province's high-quality development strategy.

The newly released action plan outlines the integration of government, industry and university, as well as the connection between research, finance, services and application, with over 80 measures under six major initiatives. These aim to fix longstanding challenges like mismatched research and industry needs, low commercialization rates, and financing gaps for tech startups.

As a core innovation hub, GUi connects research institutions with venture capital and industrial partners, becoming a powerful magnet for scientific talent and deep-tech enterprises. By fostering demand-oriented research, strengthening enterprise-led innovation, and enhancing tech-finance linkages, Anhui is reshaping its innovation landscape.

The plan lays out key actions, including the launch of AI-powered one-stop innovation service platforms, pilot innovation parks, and high-end incubators focused on hard-tech sectors such as AI, aerospace, and semiconductors. In parallel, education and finance systems are being restructured to better serve strategic industries and startups across growth stages.
