At Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), Potato Data (Hefei) Intelligent Technology Company is pioneering space-time intelligence with AI-powered solutions that turn the physical world into actionable digital insights.
The space-time intelligence, or spatiotemporal information, is data that contains both spatial and temporal elements. It describes what happens, where, and at what time, making it essential for understanding and analyzing changes in the physical world over time. From urban health checks and forest monitoring to customized document generation and digital twin construction, the company is addressing critical industry challenges of spatiotemporal AI.
Potato Data's breakthrough model, the Luoshu base model, is China's first space-time AI model to receive national certification. It enables semantic recognition across multimodal data, supporting urban governance with real-time monitoring and automated analysis, from illegal parking to roadside vendors.
Building on the Luoshu model, the company developed the Frey AI Factory, an industrial-grade AI productivity platform that offers end-to-end services from data governance and model training to domain-specific toolkits and intelligent agent deployment. It accelerates the digital transformation of industries like natural resources, smart cities, and transportation.
Recognizing the complexity of space-time AI, Potato Data promotes open innovation. It has co-launched the Moganshan Xuanyan model with partners to advance geospatial analytics and decision-making. By sharing core algorithms and domain knowledge, the company fosters an inclusive, collaborative ecosystem.
Since settling in GUi in 2024, Potato Data has leveraged the park's robust AI ecosystem, talent pipelines from top universities, and strong government support. As its East China headquarters, Hefei will anchor the company's strategy that highlights deepening vertical expertise in space-time industries while expanding AI-driven data innovation across sectors.
"Since our company settled in the GUi Parkark, we've clearly felt Hefei's vibrant energy," said Hu Jun, "Our development direction aligns closely with the city's strengths, especially in areas like artificial intelligence, big data, and software, where industry clusters are strong and collaborative growth is thriving."
