GUi showcases innovation at 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair

Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) participated in the 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) from Oct 16 to 19, alongside 16 leading enterprises from Anhui province. As part of its global expansion efforts, GUi showcased cutting-edge technologies, highlighting its fast-growing innovation ecosystem.

This marks GUi's second appearance in the Pearl River Delta this year, following its debut at the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition in April. By participating in both events, GUi aims to strengthen ties with international capital, top-tier talent, as well as Portuguese-speaking markets.

Two standout participants, Fuqing Medical and Puguang Biotech, two GUi-based companies, presented advanced medical equipment and diagnostic technologies, emphasizing their successful expansion into global markets. Both companies highlighted how their innovations are improving clinical diagnostics and international competitiveness.

The two companies are both standard "dual-city tale": technological innovation is incubated in China's mainland and then emerges on the international stage.

This development model, grounded domestically but with a global outlook, has become a hallmark of GUi's ecosystem. By leveraging exhibitions to attract business, companies in GUi not only showcase their innovations but also establish a new channel that connects domestic resources with international markets.

GUi's goal is to build itself into a "testing ground" for reforming science and technology systems, a "fertile ground" for high-tech industry development, and ultimately, a globally recognized, future-leading innovation hub. In the past two years, GUi has established 12 overseas innovation centers worldwide, with 11 more international liaison offices under construction.

The uniqueness of this cross-regional innovation network lies in its focus on two-way exchange. For example, through the Macao exhibition, GUi not only introduced mainland innovations to the world but also brought the market demands of Portuguese-speaking countries back to Anhui.

GUi is also leveraging these exhibitions to build a cross-border innovation network, promoting two-way collaboration between domestic innovation resources and international markets.

By blending local innovation with global outreach, GUi continues to enhance Anhui's visibility on the world stage. Its goal is to foster open cooperation and bring global opportunities to its local enterprises, driving further economic and technological development in the area.
