GUi companies continue momentum of breakthroughs

In Oct 2024, companies based in Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), celebrated a series of major accomplishments across multiple industries.

Hefei Jiushao Intelligent Technology Company introduced the nation's first fully autonomous geometric kernel, AMCAX 4.0, designed for high-end equipment applications such as aircraft and automobiles. The advanced software surpasses open-source alternatives and is expected to reshape design processes in critical sectors.

The company's AMCAX 4.0, based on the innovative T-grid spline modeling, has overcome challenges in aerodynamic surface design. It fully supports advanced freeform surface modeling for high-end equipment, already applied in aircraft and automotive industries. The system meets critical needs like aircraft shape design, simulated airtight structure, and external flow field.

Hefei Zhileng Low-Temperature Technology Company made headlines with its ZL-DR400 dilution refrigerator, setting a new record for domestically produced systems. This quantum computing device achieves world-class performance in ultra-low temperature environments, marking a significant milestone for China's commercial quantum industry.

Meanwhile, Fuqing Medical's Climber 150 superconducting MRI system was approved by the National Medical Products Administration, receiving a Class III medical device registration. With advanced safety and imaging features, this system is to enhance medical diagnostics significantly.

Additionally, four GUi-based companies excelled in the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Anhui Competition Area). These firms, specializing in areas like micro-nano bioelectronics and sodium-ion batteries, secured top awards, further proving the innovation potential emerging from GUi.

Together, these achievements highlight GUi's role as a leading hub of technological progress and innovation, driving both industrial and scientific advancements on a national and international scale.
