GUi rises as global hub for science and industry

Grand Union of Innovation in Hefei is rapidly becoming a key player in bridging the gap between raw scientific research and economic development. 

In just two years of its inception, GUi addresses a critical shared challenge in the business and science research community: the disconnection between research and economic outcomes. 

By fostering a robust environment for innovation and entrepreneurs, GUi has cultivated a thriving innovation ecosystem, now home to over 1,391 innovative companies and boasting investment funds exceeding 230 billion yuan ($32.3 billion).

GUi is also attracting top talent from around the world. The hub is becoming renowned as a sanctuary for scientists and entrepreneurs seeking optimal conditions for growth, with Anhui province's supportive policies and rich innovation landscape playing a crucial role.

Notable success stories include Dr. Xu Weiwai, a former expert working in Silicon Valley in the United States who relocated to GUi to co-found a chip design company. His venture has already achieved significant milestones, demonstrating the potential of GUi's innovation ecosystem.
